Reminder - IRS Now Requires Proof of Contributions

IRS rules now require that your donors be able to substantiate amounts reported as charitable contributions, either from their bank records, or via a receipt from your organization. Acknowledging donations and contributions is therefore more important than ever.
Besides being a useful courtesy to your donors, gracious acknowledgements are a good way to promote continued giving.
